Kia ora!
My name is Moerangi and I am a New Zealand māori (native), who is still getting the hang of this thing called ‘living’ but in the process, I hope to inspire you to live a full and meaningful life of your own. Below is background information of how The Blessed Life came to be.
How did the name come about?
The name of this blog reflects the life I have lived so far. There have been many moments where I have been “lucky” to receive certain opportunities in life, where I have been “lucky” to get out of a situation I have been in, where I have been “lucky” to be alive; however, it is not luck – I am blessed. Through my challenges and triumphs in life, I have been blessed. Blessed in ways that I only recognise as a blessing now and others that were instant blessings. So, my friends, that’s how this name came about.
Why a blog?
I have been thinking about writing a blog for the past 3 years. The reason I decided to follow through with creating this blog is because I have been, for years, giving advice, sharing my story, helping others. I have a huge passion for helping others in any shape or form; from staying up as late as it requires for one of my friends to have a smile back on their dial, to planning full on itineraries for people – lists of things to do, recommendations, you name it! So I thought, what better way than to do that on a larger scale than through a blog?
The entirety of this blog is real and raw, straight from Me to You. I hope you laugh, learn, embark on some epic adventures, and enjoy my content as much as I have enjoyed creating it for you.
